Candidates seeking admission into PhD must have Post Graduate Degree in concerned discipline with a minimum of 55 % of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. For SC / ST / BC candidates the aggregate shall be 50% as per UGC-2016 regulations.
The industrial executives must have minimum experience of five (5) years in the same organization where the candidate is working and his/her experience should be relevant to the research area.
It is recommended that the organization where the candidate is working shell have mutual academic agreement for exchange of facilities at department or organizational level with the respective department of JNTUH and it will be performed with the administrative involvement of University Industry Interaction Cell.
The candidate has to attend the Interview by selection committee as constituted by the University for the purpose.
The candidate is required to make the presentation to the selection committee with PPT on the topic or area of research proposal submitted along with the application.
The Pre-PhD, course work, research methodology, research review meetings, colloquium, plagiarism check, evaluation of thesis, conduct of final viva voce examination, issue of provisional certificate and original degree are as per the existing academic rules and regulations of PhD program.
The research scholar under this category can complete the course work either on campus or by availing the facility of MOOCS program within the stipulated period of time.
